Terms of Service

Effective 5 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and the seller of TowerPanic. They cover using the game and buying play time. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy, which are part of these terms.

1. Who we are

TowerPanic is run by Maciej Smoleński, trading as Usługi Informatyczne Maciej Smoleński, ul. Stawki 4d m. 9, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland, NIP 1132666162, REGON 143189104 ("we", "us"). Contact: jezdnia@gmail.com. More on the Contact page.

2. What TowerPanic is

TowerPanic is a multiplayer party game that runs in a web browser. The account holder starts a game. Other players join it by scanning its QR code or opening its link. They do not need an account.

3. Technical requirements

You need an internet connection and an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and WebSockets enabled (any current version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge). To create an account you need a Google account with a verified e-mail address. Nothing has to be installed.

4. Your account

5. Free trial

A new account gets 14 days of play for free. No payment card is needed. The trial ends by itself; nothing is charged when it ends.

6. Passes and payment

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a pass purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. At checkout you ask for your pass to start right away, so on withdrawal you get back the price of the days you have not used. How to withdraw and how the amount is worked out is in the Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.

8. Fair use

You agree not to:

A game that uses far more resources than normal play is stopped automatically. If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may close your account after telling you why by e-mail. If we do, we refund the unused days of any pass you paid for.

9. If something does not work (complaints)

We must provide the service as described in these terms. If it does not work as it should, write to jezdnia@gmail.com with your account e-mail and what went wrong. We reply within 14 days. If you are a consumer and the service does not conform to the agreement, you have the rights the law gives you: to have it fixed, and if we cannot fix it, to a price reduction or to end the agreement and get a refund for the affected time.

Planned maintenance is announced on the home page before it starts. Games running at that moment end, and you can start a new one afterwards.

10. Ending the agreement

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example for a new feature or a change in the law. We will tell you by e-mail at least 14 days before a change that affects you takes effect. A change never applies to a pass you have already bought. If you do not accept it, you can end the agreement before it takes effect and get back the price of your unused paid days.

12. Liability

We are liable under the law for damage we cause by not performing the agreement. We are not liable for problems caused by your device, browser or internet connection, or by services we do not control, such as Google sign-in. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. A dispute can be taken to the competent court. Consumers in Poland can also get free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) and use out-of-court resolution through the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa); more at prawakonsumenta.uokik.gov.pl.
